Report an intimate image
Last updated: September 30, 2026
If ThingSong shows an intimate image or video of you that you didn’t agree to share, tell us here and we’ll take it down. That includes a fake one made with AI or editing software. You don’t need a ThingSong account.
What we do
- Our team is alerted as soon as your request arrives.
- Within 48 hours, we take down what you told us about from the ThingSong app, thingsong.com and ThingSong’s YouTube channel. We also look for copies of it on ThingSong and take those down too, so you don’t have to report each one.
- We email you when it’s done, or if we can’t find it or need more from you.
- If the person shown may be under 18, we also report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as the law requires.
This is ThingSong’s process under the federal TAKE IT DOWN Act. ThingSong doesn’t allow sexual content of any kind (see our Terms of Service), so you can also tap Report in the app on anything else that breaks our rules.
If someone is under 18 or in danger
If anyone is in danger, call 911. If the image shows someone under 18, you can also report it to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org, and NCMEC’s Take It Down service helps remove it from other sites.
Send a request
You can send it yourself, or for someone else who asked you to, for example as their parent, lawyer or representative. The parts marked required are what the law asks every request to include.
Other ways to reach us
If you can’t use the form, email hello@thingsong.com with the same details. Please don’t attach the image or video: a link or a description is enough.
